Students should understand the vocabulary related to professions and be able to discuss what qualifications and education is needed to do be in a particular field.

Students should understand how to form the future tense and how to use it in meaningful contexts.
Content Goals:
Students should know how to discuss the future of our global economy as well as their personal futures in Spanish.

Students should know the cultural lifestyles of Spanish youth and how they compare to their own.
Skill Goals:
Students will be able to read and listen to information about careers and professions and what qualities and/or education are necessary to do them.

Students will be able to discuss their future goals using the future tense combined with the vocabulary from the unit.

Students will be able to compare their lifestyles to those of the youth in Spain.

Students will be able to predict the role of technology in our future.
