Students will respond to reading prompts from the novel Wonder independently as well as in pairs and groups, and acquire more familiarity with grade level vocabulary from the book. Students will lead the whole class, groups, or partners in discussing Wonder questions. Students will self-assess progress toward reading level goals using Readtheory. Students will self-assess their social/emotional status and needs as well as make personal connections to the week's reading in a community building circle.
