Goal Summary:
Students will respond to reading prompts from the novel Wonder independently as well as in pairs and groups, complete an essay organizer and short essay with evidence and analysis from their reading, compare the film version to the novel Wonder, and acquire more familiarity with grade level vocabulary as seen in the book. Students will self-assess progress toward reading level goals using Readtheory. Students will self-assess their social/emotional status and needs as well as make personal connections to the week's reading in a community building circle.
