Goal Summary:
During the 2015-16 school year, 100% of my students will demonstrate measurable growth in their ability to evaluate content presented in diverse media and formats to comprehend complex text. Each student will improve by at least one performance level on our ELA rubric. In addition, 70% of students will perform at the proficient level on the targeted area of the district's/elementary common ELA assessment by the end of the school year.

Students will identify and explain what makes bats interesting and useful.
Students will explain how pictures help tell a story.
Students will identify what traditional tales tell the reader about life.
Students can explain how a live performance is different from other kids of entertainment.
Students can determine what important traits an inventor must have.
