The students will understand that Spanish culture is link together by a language and not by a race. The students will learn about different variations of the language and compare to the variations of the English language.

Spanish speaking communities in North America.

The student will be able to identify the different Spanish speaking countries across the world.
The students will be able to name the capitals of the Spanish speaking countries.
The students will be able to identify the different Spanish speaking communities in North America and the cities where these cultures are settling in.
