Math: Inverse and Additive Inverse--SWBAT conclude and explain that subtracting a number is the same as adding its inverse and apply the additive inverse to re-write a subtraction problem as an addition problem.

English: SWBAT use parts of speech correctly – They will explain the rules for demonstrative adjectives, pronouns, and modifiers. The students will be able to identify the correct verb tense, progressive verbs, adverbs that are used as intensifiers, indefinite pronouns, and the perfect verb tense.

Life Science: Five Senses - SWBAT explain and brief each of the senses and what it would be like if their senses were lost.

Essential Questions:
1. Asking Questions and Defining Problems: Math--Utilizing this STEM principle, students should "Ask Questions" that pertain to Inverse and Additive Inverse in relation to word problems. As they read the summaries they need to "Ask" what is the x-variable and how do I correctly formulate/define the problem.

2. Planning and Carrying Out Investigations: English--Utilizing this STEM principle SWBAT research certain topics, provide detailed planning and investigation on the suggested topic, and lastly they will present their findings to the class with a powerpoint presentation

3. Developing and Using Models: Five Senses--Utilizing this principle, SWBAT explain and brief each of the senses and what it would be like if their senses were lost
