Goal Summary:

The class will be observing a (live specimen) Northern Brown Snake (Storeria dekayi) and researching additional information as a class. Students will then pick a different species of snake from North America and conduct their research independently. Throughout this unit, students will log observations, conduct library research and finally compare and contrast physical and behavioral characteristics of various snakes indigenous to North America.
