A. Safe and Effective Care Environment
i. ID roles and responsibilities of team members in ED
ii. Plan and implement best practices to maintain staff and patient safety in the ED
iii. Explain selected core competencies that nurses need to function in the ED.
iv. Triage patients in the ED to prioritize the order of care delivery.
v. Prioritize resuscitation interventions based on the primary survey of the injured patient.
