Goal Summary:

Students will learn how to ask and answer questions about key details and identify the central message in a story that they read or is read to them. They will be able to identify characters, settings, and events. Student will learn to write 1-2 sentence narratives (recount personal experiences). They will use upper and lower case letters appropriately, use pronouns correctly, capitalize dates/names of people, begin to use punctuation, and will be able to sort words into categories.
