What is a breed of dog? Why do different breeds of dogs look and act differently?
What is a pit bull?

What is a stereotype? How do stereotypes make you feel? What do you think of when you think of pit bulls? How are pit bulls represented in the media? How does this affect the treatment of pit bulls?


How are dogs treated in your community? What is responsible treatment of dogs?

What is animal cruelty? Why do you think pit bulls are subject to poor treatment? What can we do about this?

Now that you know more about pit bulls, what do you feel when you think about pit bulls? How can you help change the perception of pit bulls?
