What Are Cookies? This lesson will be presented the week of 11/18-22. We've just begun an author study using Eve Bunting books. The students read The Wall for Veteran's Day. This is their second book by this author which focuses on Thanksgiving, and they'll have two more for Hanukah and Christmas.
Objective:
I can use specific details in a story to help me describe a character, setting or event in the story. RL.4.3
Other Information:
My aim this year is to get the 4th grade students to refer to the text when drawing conclusions as well as when answering directly stated questions. This lesson and the two others in December will give the students an opportunity to do this.
