Objective:
Students will create a marketing campaign for a new business through finding key questions about their business and determining the answers. Marketing materials such as a slogan, a visual advertisement, a radio ad will be created for the business's target audience. Students will also describe the role of competitors in a market economy.
Prep:
Use students' previous experience to enable them to reflect on products they use and why. Point out the various foods they eat, games they play, books they read, and toys they use. Pay particular attention to the products packaging, and any commercials or ads they see or hear.
