Dear Parents and Guardians,

The week of July 4, 2014 our Thematic Lesson unit will be focused on the "Meaning of Citizenship." during this week the staff here at ABC Early Childhood Learning Center would like the families to practice the following Democratic voting processes at home:
(1) Follow democratic voting when choosing family movies to attend
(2) Vote on dinner selections
(3) Vote on division of chores, etc.

We want the children to get a sense of the democratic processes in the family and as representative of the society.

We will also need volunteers for the following:
(1) Volunteers on July 2, 2014 as we take a field trip to the court house to see law
and judgment in practice.
(2) Donations of hot dogs, buns, pizza, and the fixings for our 4th of July celebration in the classroom on July 3rd.

Please RSVP for field trips and food donations by July 27, 2014.

We thank you in advance as we continue partnering for the educational advancement of our children.
