Goal Summary:

Students will acquire more familiarity with grade level vocabulary, self-assess progress toward reading goals, combine compound sentences, match synonyms, complete a problem/solution organizer, and write a paragraph on a self-generated question in response to an article. Students will self-assess social/ emotional needs and status while making personal connections to the week's reading in a community building circle.
