Content Goals:
Identify, investigate and practice the fundamentals of digital photography, image editing software and page design as an artistic expression.
Skill Goals:
Take students down the path of beginning to emerging photographers by learning all the basic functions of a digital camera and its lenses.

Students will be able to differentiate between inferior, average and exceptional page design by learning the essentials of Adobe InDesign and Photoshop, and the open source blogging platform based in wordpress.

Students will be able to apply the design fundamentals to the school yearbook and the school newspaper blog.

Students will keep a journal of their personal observations and their relations ship to photography.

Student-managed wifi accounts, Adobe InDesign CS3 or higher, Photoshop CS3 or higher, Wordpress, Nikon and Canon digital cameras, student-owned smartphones.
