Understandings:

Students should gain an understanding of vocabulary in Agriculture and Math. In literature they will be able to grasp how Agriculture effects their lives and the lives of other cultures. In writing, they will reinforce those concepts while working on their skills and conventions of writing. In Math, students will practice the essentials of Area and Perimeter while reviewing concepts in Agriculture to hopefully show students that Agriculture is tied into real life experiences.

Content Goals:

Students should be able to remember what unit vocabulary words mean. Students should be able to know when to use Area and when to use Perimeter. Students should be able to see how Agriculture effects their everyday life.
