The students will gain a deeper understanding of what inferencing is and how using this skill will better their understanding of information not explicitly stated in pictures and in various texts. The students will communicate effectively with their peers to share their inferences, while supporting their ideas with evidence and logical reasons. The students will analyze clues from the information presented and combine it with their background knowledge (schema) to create an inference.
