Prep:

1. Bake a 9x13 pan of brownies. :)
2. Take photos of objects in the classroom and outside on the playground. Also take photos of students. Transfer them to smart board lesson. Cover each photo with a rectangle divided into sections. Mark one/two/etc sections in dark shadows to reflect parts of the whole fraction.
3. Prepare worksheet with photos of pictures common to the students that will not cause questions or giggling.
