What Are Cookies? Cookies are tiny pieces of information that your browser adds to a special folder on your computer to let certain websites recognize you as you move from page to page within the website, most commonly used to remember login or shopping cart info. The Lesson Builder uses a session cookie to remember you as you browse the website, so that new lessons you create are added to your library and so that your searches can differentiate between your lessons and other teachers' lessons. You can still view lessons without cookies enabled. A small percent of web users choose to disable cookies since some cookies (especially third-party cookies) are used by advertisers to track browsing behavior on other websites. The Lesson Builder doesn't do that.
How Can I Enable First Party Cookies? It varies from browser to browser. Look for an 'options', 'settings', or 'tools' selection on your browser, or perform a web search for how to do it for your specific browser. You can choose to enable all cookies, enable only first party cookies, or add an exception to allow cookies from thelessonbuilder.org.
How Can I Know It's Fixed? When you think you have enabled cookies for this site, refresh the page and this message should disappear. If you still see this message after refreshing the page, cookies are still disabled for this site.

Art
Topic:
Types of lines
Objective:
To understand and know the difference between a straight, curved, and zig-zagged line.
Other Information:
(Student activities)) listening, following direction as they are given.
(Monitor progress) I'll be walking around checking to make sure that each student is on task making progress
Public Notes:
(Assess learning) I'll draw objects on the dry erase board and, after circling a particular line I'll ask the class what type of line it is
Private Notes:
Hide On Print
(Modification of learning plan) sped kid with dyspraxia I'll have her work on tracing the lines that I have pre made on a sheet of paper with puff paint. Also, this is the assignment that others will do if they get ahead. I will also, play music that relates to the subject and give lots if visuals.
Reflection:
Students got a bit rowdy. Next time I will make it much more clear what we are doing. Sped kid did not much like the multitude of tasks I had the class doing. She ended up having a mild fit. Must work on clear explicit instruction with little to no misunderstanding, as with this time.
On the plus side, they were really energetic about the activity. They very much enjoyed the simple task and the ability to socialize as they drew their lines. In fact, I believe the socialization helped with students being able to problem solve because I saw much helping of each other and a bit of competition, which I found humorous.
Prep:
(Student group arangment) three to a table
Materials:
Paper, scissors, glue, yarn, and a dry erase board
