My New Lesson

Grade Level:
K
Subject:
Literacy
Topic:
Reading
Objective:
A student should be able to recognize letters and form word combinations and sentences.By the age of three, most children have considerable experience with language. They can understand most sentences, understand the use of basic prepositions, and use pronouns such as I, you, we, and they, along with some plurals. They show immense creativity in their language use, creating phrases for words they don’t know as well. Their spoken sentences on average are as many words long as they are old. A majority of their words should be understandable to a person outside the home. Throughout the preschool period, children are learning to categorize items and put them in there proper place.
Prep:
Prep time for each of this activities in the lesson plan are minimal. Simply downloading the specific activity you want to incorporate is the most important step. Then scheduling time for each child to partake in that activity is key.
Materials:
Access to online activities and approval from director to incorporate new activities into curriculum.
