Objective:
Students will be able to express (verbal and writing) appropriate descriptive words to define the physical appearance of selected plants (in conclusion of our Plant Unit); students will be able to differentiate between positive and negative descriptive words; students will be able to differentiate between opposites in descriptive words to fit the scenario.
Prep:
Have writing and coloring utensils prepared and ready at their tables, along with the describing adjective cutouts and the large "My Plant Is..." sheet. Individual assessment sheets may be passed out AFTER the whole class reconvenes to discuss results.
Materials:
Pencils, Crayons, "My Plant Is..." large sheet - one per table; cutouts of descriptive adjectives (examples: bright, colorful, healthy, long; tiny, weak, dull) - one set per table; "My Plant Is..." Activity sheets (plus additional alternative sheets).
