Reflection:: Due to circumstances beyond my control, we had to pick off where we left off during this lesson. I introduced two videos about Martha Washington from YouTube. The students appeared to enjoy these brief, two videos. The videos contained a woman playing the role of Martha as if she were being interviewed. This went really well with the material that was being covered in the worksheet packet. I had no complaints about this lesson - it went smooth. I was relaxed and confident. However, I do need to work on my pacing issues (rushing through the material) and making sure the students only do their worksheets when asked to do so.
