Objective:
Students will rank steepness of staircases from least to greatest. They will measure different parts of the staircase and explore ways to calculate slope that would match their visuals of what steepness is.
Reflection:
Lesson went well, better than I'd hoped for! I didn't expect a kid to ask for protractor. Let that go again and see if anyone asks. Good idea to have common terminology so when someone shares, we could all follow along.
