Students will be able to list ten most important or/and positive things that have occurred in their life. They will place them in chronological order from earliest to latest, and will represent them graphically, in text, and with pictures from a magazine or newspaper.

Prep:
Prepare a location in the classroom for students to gather their materials and store their timelines. Cut the paper in half lengthwise using a paper cutter. Place the stack of paper in sections of the classroom or pass them out each class period if not a self contained class.

Give each student a ruler. Have them measure along the lengthwise edge to a certain distance a third of the way from the edge. Have them repeat it from the other end. Then have them fold along the marks toward the center.

Have the students write their names or if they are younger you write their names on the back of the timelines.
