Stereotyping

Grade Level:
9
Subject:
Guidance
Topic:
How to deal with Stereotypes
Objective:
The objective for this class is to determine how the Regis community can identify stereotyping properly, in order to put an end to it. It will also be important to determine which classes of people are stereotyped the most and why they are. Every aspect of this class will be utilized to stop stereotyping first at Regis, with the hope it can be carried out in each student's community.
Prep:
There was not a lot of prep needed for this class. I wrote a few notes down on stereotyping that I noticed so fat this year in the hallways of Regis High School. Other than that, there was no more prep needed.
Materials:
I only needed access to a classroom with a Dry Erase Board. I have the markers for it so only the board was needed.
Standards Met:
IDs Only
