Objective:

The objective of this class is to teach students all facets of diversity both inside Regis High School and around their neighborhood. This class will teach the students how to handle diversity in their everyday life, specifically how to embrace it. The majority of this class will be discussion based as I would love to hear initial reactions on this topic.

Prep:

Before this class, I will prepare a Powerpoint presentation containing the definition of Diversity, along with pictures that represent diversity and the statistics of diversity within Regis High School. Also, the questions I give to the small groups will be available on the Smart Board so that they can be referred to during small group time.

Materials:

I will need my computer with the Powerpoint on it. I will need to make sure my classroom also has Smart Board access.
