What Are Cookies? This is a NC Children's Picturebook Nominee. I'll be reading it to all the grades and adapting the lesson according to three separate grade level groups.
Objective:
After hearing the book, Me...Jane and viewing the corresponding biography material, students will be able to ask and answers questions about the about key details in a text ELA.1.RI.1 (which point to the importance of Jane Goodall's work).
Other Information:
I will be reading all twelve NC Children's Picture Book nominees during vatious weeks up through the voting date in March. The same book will be read to each grade, but the supplemental lesson material will be different for each age group (PK-1), (2-3), (4-5).
