What Are Cookies? Reflection:
This lesson worked well. The students liked having the booklet to take their notes in. It helped with their focus on the topic and especially helped those who write slowly to only have to fill what was important. Their notes were more organized. I added some graphs to the booklet so that they would not have to sketch this. Many of the students had difficulty with sketching a graph when there was no graph provided.
The students grasped the concepts each day but retention is a real problem. The students continue to make many mistakes with integer arithmetic and have problems solving equations. I work on these two issues daily.
