What Are Cookies? Objective:
The purpose of this lesson is for students to be introduced to the effects of climate change around the world through the use of recent news articles and/or magazine articles. Students will have the opportunity to create a 3-5-minute news segment, in groups, to discuss their findings from the article. Each group will be given a secret terminology related to climate change that they must incorporate into their segment. The segments will be recorded and watched the following class. Students will have to identify the secret vocabulary word for each group and take notes of the definitions.
