Objective:

By the end of this lesson students should be able to critically think and be able to apply their knowledge about evolution and population dynamics to be able to problem solve real world issues. This lesson will make relevant the growing issues that the world faces for them as they become a citizen in society.

Other Information:

I feel that the reading compliments the class activity/discussion because it allows for students to begin to think of situations that occur to the people they may know and then by the end of the lesson, they will be able to think of world issues that can impact their lifestyle as a whole. I feel that the reading will allow my students to put into perspective what their lifestyle is and be able to understand why changing different aspects of their lifestyle can benefit themselves and the world they live in.
