This is the capstone activity to Unit 1 Effective Communication. Students analyzed the Characteristics of Effective Communication by watching and discussing examples of outstanding presentations. Students each prepared and performed a personal presentation about themselves. Students applied the Dynamics of Group Communication and Decision Making through classroom discussion and activities. Students also participated in practice interview sessions. Today's lesson involves the teacher set-up of a survival scenario; the student-led activity that follows is the culmination of lessons learned and objectives achieved during the unit.
