This is the capstone activity to Unit 1 Effective Communication. Students analyzed the Characteristics of Effective Communication by watching and discussing examples of outstanding presentations. Students each prepared and performed a personal presentation about themselves. Students applied the Dynamics of Group Communication and Decision Making through classroom discussion and activities. Today's lesson involves the teacher set-up of a survival scenario; the student-led activity that follows is the culmination of lessons learned and objectives achieved during the unit.
