Public Notes:
This integrated lesson will use the book, How Many Feet in the Bed. This book highlights counting to 10 by skip counting in 2s. A book with a similar concepts can be used in its place.
Prep:
Students should be arranged in a whole class discussion setup for the book reading and discussion, preferably on a circle rug or similar seating arrangement.
Materials:
Children's literature of choice that highlights skip counting by 2s, i.e. How many feet in the bed by Diane Johnston Hamm, paper ad pencil, chalk/smart board.
