This is the third and final lesson on the Classical Period, and focuses on its composers, as well as its orchestra.

Objective:

Students will be able to...
-list the three main characteristics of the Classical Period (simple, balanced, organized)
-list the three main composers of the Classical Period and relate something important about them (Mozart - boy genius, Beethoven - continued composing even when going deaf, Haydn - father of the string quartet)
-be able to differentiate between Baroque music and Classical music.
-compare and contrast the Baroque orchestra with the Classical orchestra.
