Objective:
Overall Objective (120 minutes): Students will create an interactive game as they are guided through some new programming concepts. This project comprises four parts in which students build a game while learning new programming concepts like character positioning using the x-y grid, interactive programs and event handling techniques, and using variables in a program to track values like game score, a timer, and character health.

Part One Objective-Thursday: In Part I, students explore the Hopscotch screen as an x-y grid with the origin in the bottom left corner. They move a character around the screen and make observations about its x- and y-coordinates.
