North American Natives - Indian tribes in the Northeast, Southeast, and Central Plains

Objective:

Students will choose a tribe to learn about by pretending that they are a pioneer child in the early 1800's who has been captured. They must learn all about the tribe that has captured them, using the available library resources (print and digital). They will create a presentation of what they've learned using Google slides, or a story board. They will earn a totem necklace (which they will create from supplies provided) upon project completion
