According to Piaget's theory of cognitive development these lesson plans would more than likely be broken into his assimilation and accommodation stages. I say this because these plans show what information a child has already acquired and maintained in their memory versus the information that they have yet to take in which would be considered accommodation. By starting with what information the children have already learned and introducing new skills that will build upon the one's that they already have their cognitive development is being broadened in several ways.
