Contributions of American Indian People to Colonial Settlements

Objective:

1) While learning about several contributions American Indians provided to American colonial settlements, the students will create a chart, mind map, or other visual presentation organizing and then detailing 4 broad contributions from American Indian peoples. Each broad contribution will be broken down with at least 3 specific details. Students will complete at least 10/12 correct.
2) After learning about several contributions American Indians provided to American colonial settlements, the students will choose a specific contribution and respond to the following query in their writing journal or on our google classroom webpage: "How would your life, or America, be different without this? Why?" The response must include a specific contribution, and a thoughtful response to the prompt. Students will meet this criteria with 100%.
