What Are Cookies? Prep:
Teacher will provide brief introduction to lesson. Students will be asked to read a few sentences with the drawing of "sticks" to ensure all students are following along. With the class reading together allows EL students to hear the information also to see/recognize the written word to aid in reading and answering questions. Once students complete reading, teacher will allow 15 minutes for students to identify and properly place vocabulary provided to ensure understanding.
