ESE REMEDIAL LESSON: Group 1:
Letter identification and prewriting skills/writing skills for 5 capital letters: A, B, C, D, and E (5 letters only).

ESE REMEDIAL LESSON: Group 2:
Letter Identification and Writing Practice along with phonemic association to letter names and symbols of the alphabet. Placing the letters of the alphabet in the correct order when laid out randomly. (7 letters only).
Objective:
To continue intensive remedial work with both the Lower and Higher Functioning Groups of Special Needs Kindergarten students based upon IEP goals/objectives, previous lessons and performance , and identified areas of weakness requiring maximum intervention specific to each student to include letter recognition, formation, associated sounds, and proper sequential order.
Other Information:
The letters offered for a given day's activities will change so that the entire alphabet is covered in the higher functioning group over the 5 day period and 10 letters are learned in accordance with the rubric within the lower functioning group (5 - 7 Upper Case Letters) over the 5 day period. Letters included in each activity will vary each of the 5 days of the week depending on the needs and level of functioning of each student/group.
