Objective:
Students will be taught a stylized jazz dance combination building upon previous skills to include parallel pirouettes, quick change of facing and combined isolated movements.
Prep:
Assessment 1:
Students will perform in groups of 5-6 for individual grades. The teacher will be evaluating 4 components:
Do they know the choreography?
Is it executed with the correct timing?
Is it executed with correct anatomical technique?
Do they perform the piece with appropriate dynamics?

Each dancer will perform twice, and the average of the two performances will determine the final assessment grade.

Assessment 2:
Written: What did you find to be the most challenging thing about this piece of choreography? Do you feel successful in overcoming that? If not, what specifically could you do in the future?
