What Are Cookies? Objective:
Students will be introduced to text structures in order to evaluate how author's like Assimov use writing structures to frame arguments. Students will read a personal essay, Dial vs. Digital and look for specific details (arguments) the author uses to defend his ideas. Students will practice note taking skills that will help with reading comprehension. At the end of the week, students will take an assessment on the concepts/skills used for the week.
