What Are Cookies? Objective:
Students will continue their study of American Poetry. This week, students will discuss the concept of “The American Dream” and develop their own
definition of this concept. The students will examine quotes and poems that explore this concept and highlight groups of people who historically have not had access to “The American Dream.” They will discuss the possible reasons for and price of this historical disillusionment. At the end of this week's lesson, students will create a visual illustration of their "American Dream."
