Objective:

Students will write their individual artist statement.

Standard 1: Students will actively engage in the process that constitutes creation and performance in the arts and participate in various roles in the arts. Students will write an Artist's statement about their self portrait piece.

Standard 2: Students will be knowledgable about and make use of the materials and resources available for participation in the arts in various roles. Students will learn how to write a artist statement. Students will become familiar in writing an artist's statement for each of their works.
