Students will dive deeper into the mind of Chris McCandles. Did he know he was going to die when he headed north? Jon Krakauer tries to refute this claim by sharing his experiences grappling with nature. Students will explore uncharted vocabulary, learn about a subject Floridians are not very familiar with, and be able to debate the main characters intentions.
Prep:
