What Are Cookies? Objective:
Students will extend their understanding of legal documents by writing a proclamation and critiquing a speech. Students will learn how to critique a speech by evaluating a presenter's delivery, while identifying his or her values. Students will analyze these components in order to write a critique. Students will also engage in a mock presidential press conference. Selected students will write a proclamation and peers will critique the speech.
